Juliana became a national sporting icon in 1990 when she became Malaysia’s youngest National Archer, chosen to represent her country in the international MINDEF tournaments.

Again in 1994 Juliana represented Malaysia at the Sixth World Schools Debating Championships in New Zealand, competing against twelve other nations including Australia, England, Canada and the USA.

In 1991 Juliana was selected from thousands of other students to join the 20 strong Malaysian delegation to the Japanese Red Cross Youth Congress

Juliana has appeared as Keynote Speaker, presenter or as Master of Ceremonies at several high profile events. Recent appointments include AMSA’s Annual Dinner (where she introduced among other dignitaries former Supreme Court Judge Hon Justice Marcus Einfeld) and appearing as Keynote Speaker at the 2006 Annual Women's Day forum hosted by NSW Department of Commerce

Juliana joined Dunn & Bradstreet in Mid 1999 after a successful career in direct selling. In less than 8 months she became Dunn & Bradstreet’s top performing business analyst, dominating the awards Australia-wide throughout calendar 2000.

Juliana’s talent and energy as a presenter was recognised early in her time with the NSW District of Toastmasters International. After less than 12 months in the organisation, she was chosen to MC the state speaking championships. She became one of the District’s eight Division Governors in 2005. Her picture has been used in much of the organisation’s advertising.
